Nokia 2285 (SureWest) Customer Reviews

Customer Rating: 4.8
by Michael Blocker -- December 13th 2004 -- Springfield, MO

This was the second nokia that I owned and have been pleased with them both. The quality of call is what brings me back. I was really impressed with the reception that I got out of this phone although I never talked very much on it cause it was a tracfone. It is very light and slim so it fits in your pocket very nicely. It is a good phone for someone who is not looking for a bunch of features, and great call quality.

This phone dropped every call that I made. I exchanged it 4 times and still had horrible call quality. Is it Metro PCS? I don't know, but I have convinced plenty of people to leave the phone alone and to take their business elsewhere. It was hard to find the features and even harder to use them. I would suggest leaving Nokia and/or MetroPCS alone!!!!!

This phone is outstanding. The service and sound quality is excellent. The phone a lot of ring tones and some nice features. I have been very happy with this new phone I got. You can also set up and use your voice mail on your cell for free by using your regular phone.

I changed from AT&T Wireless - Nokia 3360 to Verizon - Nokia 2285. Coverage and sound quality improved so much. No more dropping of a call due to Verizon's use of CDMA technology. 2285 is very light and slim and fits nicely in my shirt pocket. Battery seems to last a few times better than Nokia 3360, the cell I bought 2 years ago.
